By booking a service with The Daily Detail or using our website at dailydetailva.com, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our services. These terms apply to all customers in Richmond, Virginia and surrounding areas.
The Daily Detail provides residential home services including laundry pickup and delivery, home cleaning, and home organizing. Services are available in the Richmond, Virginia metro area. We reserve the right to decline service at our discretion.
All services must be booked and paid for in advance through our website. Payment is processed securely by Stripe. By completing a booking, you authorize us to charge the full service amount to your payment method.
Your booking is confirmed once payment is received. We will contact you within the hour via text to confirm your appointment window.

By using our laundry pickup and delivery service, you agree to the following:
If you are not satisfied with the result of your laundry service, contact us within 24 hours and we will arrange a complimentary rewash.
By using our home cleaning service, you agree to the following:
Home organizing sessions are booked by the hour. Our organizer will work with you to build systems that suit your home and lifestyle. Any decisions about discarding or donating items are made solely by you — we will never remove items from your home without your explicit instruction.
You are responsible for providing access to your property at the scheduled appointment time. If we arrive and cannot access your home through no fault of our own, a cancellation fee may apply. Please include any gate codes, key box combinations, or special access instructions in the notes field at booking.
The Daily Detail carries general liability insurance. In the unlikely event of damage caused by our team, please notify us within 24 hours with documentation. We will work with you in good faith to resolve the matter.
Our liability is limited to the cost of the service booked. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
Promotional codes are valid for single use per customer unless otherwise stated. Codes have no cash value, are non-transferable, and may not be combined with other offers. The Daily Detail reserves the right to cancel or modify promotional codes at any time.
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. When we do, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of our services shall be resolved in the courts of Henrico County, Virginia.
